MOSCOW. May 17 (Interfax) - Russian aircraft have delivered 11 strikes on Ukrainian army positions in the Kupyansk sector, spokesman for the western group of forces Sergei Zybinsky said.
"In the course of hostilities in the Kupyansk sector, aircraft from the western group of forces delivered 11 strikes on concentration of troops, weapons and military hardware of the 14th Separate Mechanized Brigade and territorial defense units," Zybinsky said.
"Msta-B howitzers destroyed a Polish-made Krab self-propelled artillery system and a command post of the 206th Territorial Defense Battalion in Volchansk with a Krasnopol precision-guided munition," he said.
A Giatsint-B cannon destroyed a Ukrainian D-20 howitzer near Petropavlovka and a mortar crew in Sinkovka, Zybinsky said.
"A special ops team destroyed a 2S1 Gvozdika howitzer with a Lantset loitering munition near Kutkovka," he added.
