West's plan to supply F-16 to Kiev pointless - Russian deputy FM

MOSCOW. May 22 (Interfax) - The West's plan to supply Ukraine with U.S.-made F-16 fighter jets and train Ukrainian pilots will not help achieve its goals with regard to Russia, Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Ryabkov said.

"All of those efforts are completely futile. Our capacities allow the unquestionable achievement of every objective of the special military operation, and no attacks on the security of the Russian Federation, regardless the scale of such measures taken by the collective West led by the United States, will bring the result sought by the West," Ryabkov told reporters.
