MOSCOW. May 23 (Interfax) - The defense ministers of Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) member states will meet in Minsk, Belarus, on May 25, to discuss interaction between coalition members, CSTO press secretary Vladimir Zainetdinov said.
"The meeting participants will discuss military security challenges and threats in the regions of collective security of CSTO member states and ways to improve the crisis response system," Zainetdinov said.
"The meeting will address documents on the joint training of commands and formations of the CSTO collective security system, as well as military-technical cooperation and other matters," he said.
The meeting in Minsk will be chaired by Belarusian Defense Minister Viktor Khrenin and attended by CSTO Secretary General Imangali Tasmagambetov and Chief of the CSTO Joint Staff Anatoly Sidorov.
The CSTO comprises Russia, Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan.
