Belarus ready to provide venue for talks on Ukraine - Belarusian Security Council head

MINSK. May 24 (Interfax) - Belarus is ready to provide a venue for talks on a settlement of the situation around Ukraine, State Secretary of the Belarusian Security Council Alexander Volfovich said on Wednesday.

"Belarus is doing and ready to do everything for a peaceful settlement. Remember, three rounds of Ukraine talks were held last year on Belarusian soil. We are ready to resume this practice and provide everything necessary for that," Volfovich said, as quoted by the Soyuznoye Veche newspaper of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Russia-Belarus Union State.

Belarus hosted three rounds of Russian-Ukrainian peace talks in 2022. This process, however, was later halted.
