MOSCOW. May 25 (Interfax) - The Admiral Ushakov destroyer has held an air defense drill in the Barents Sea, the Russian Northern Fleet's press service said on Thursday.
"The exercise trained an element of air defense of the ship threatened by air-launched weapons of a mock enemy," the press service said.
AK-130 and AK-630 artillery systems fired at a simulated airborne target, it said.
"The exercise was held together with Sukhoi Su-24 aircraft from the combined aviation regiment of the Northern Fleet, which, in turn, trained elements of attack on a maritime target," the press service said.
