MOSCOW. May 25 (Interfax) - The Russian military has reported destroying two ammunition depots of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the Donetsk People's Republic (DPR).
"Two ammunition depots of the 80th Air Assault Brigade and the 110th Mechanized Brigade of the Ukrainian Armed Forces were destroyed near the populated areas of Stupochka and Avdeyevka, Donetsk People's Republic," Russian Defense Ministry spokesman Igor Konashenkov told a briefing on Thursday.
Ninety-five Ukrainian Armed Forces artillery units on firing positions, personnel and military hardware in 102 areas were hit over the past day, he said.
"Air defense weapons intercepted eight projectiles of HIMARS multiple rocket launchers over the past 24 hours," Konashenkov said.
Twenty-eight Ukrainian drones were also destroyed in some areas, he said.
