Zaporozhye NPP's physical safety very fragile, but ensured with IAEA's assistance - Rosatom head (Part 2)

ST. PETERSBURG. May 25 (Interfax) - The safety of the Zaporozhye Nuclear Power Plant (ZNPP) is unstable, but it is largely ensured thanks to the efforts of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), the CEO of the Rosatom state corporation, Alexei Likhachev, told journalists on the sidelines of the 10th Nevsky International Ecological Congress.

"The ZNPP's physical safety is very fragile as of today, it is unstable. But it is ensured, among other things, to a large extent through the IAEA's efforts," Likhachev said.

"We support the efforts of IAEA Director General Rafael Grossi," he said.
