MOSCOW. May 29 (Interfax) - A massive strike by long-range weapons was delivered at Ukrainian army airfields in the early hours of Monday, and command posts, radar stations, aircraft and ammo depots were hit, Russian Defense Ministry spokesman Igor Konashenkov said.
"Last night, the Russian Armed Forces delivered a massive strike by long-range air-launched precision-guided weapons at the enemy's airfield facilities," Konashenkov said at a press briefing on Monday.
The strike achieved its objective, and all designated targets were destroyed, he said.
"The strike hit command posts and radar stations, as well as aircraft and arms and ammo depots of the Ukrainian Armed Forces," Konashenkov said.
