Residents evacuated from several sections of 2 residential buildings in Moscow after drone attack - mayor

MOSCOW. May 30 (Interfax) - Residents have been evacuated from several sections of two residential buildings in Moscow following a drone attack, Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin said, adding that they will be able to return to their apartments after emergency services conclude their work.

"For safety reasons, for the period of emergency services' work, residents were evacuated from several sections of two residential buildings damaged after being hit by drones. Residents will be able to return to their apartments as soon as the special services' work is concluded," Sobyanin said on Telegram.

Earlier, Sobyanin said that a drone attack caused minor damage to several buildings in Moscow in the early hours of Tuesday. All emergency services of the city are working at the scene of the incidents, he said.
