MOSCOW. May 30 (Interfax) - The Russian military shot down eight drones sent by Kiev to attack sites in Moscow, the Russian Defense Ministry said.
"The Kiev regime staged a terrorist attack with unmanned aerial vehicles on sites in the city of Moscow this morning. Eight plane-type drones were used in the attack. All enemy drones were shot down," the Defense Ministry said.
"Three of them were jammed by electronic warfare systems, lost control and veered away from their designated targets. The other five drones were shot down by a Pantsir-S air defense missile and gun system in the Moscow region," it said.
