Armenian, Azerbaijani, Russian deputy PMs might meet in Moscow this week - Armenian deputy PM

YEREVAN. May 30 (Interfax) - Deputy prime ministers of Armenia, Azerbaijan, and Russia plan to meet this week to discuss the unblocking of regional transport links, Armenian Deputy Prime Minister Mher Grigoryan said.

"The meeting will most likely take place this week. The unblocking of transport links will be discussed," Grigoryan told journalists on Tuesday, adding that the meeting would be held in Moscow.

No agreement has been reached yet on a meeting between an Armenian and an Azerbaijani deputy prime ministers to address the delimitation of the border between the two countries, Grigoryan said. The previous meeting in this format took place in Brussels in November 2022.

Russian President Vladimir Putin said following negotiations with Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev on May 25 that deputy prime ministers of the three countries would meet a week later to finalize some issues related to the unblocking of transport routes in the South Caucasus.
