BRUSSELS. May 30 (Interfax) - The U.S. administration does not encourage drone attacks within the borders of the Russian Federation, a White House spokesperson said when commenting on the drone attack on Moscow and the Moscow region on Tuesday.
"We saw the news and are still gathering information about what happened. As general matter, we do not support attacks inside of Russia," Western media quoted a White House spokesperson as saying in a statement, which they published excerpts of.
The U.S. is focused on providing Ukraine with the equipment and training needed "to retake their own sovereign territory," the statement says, as quoted by the media.
On Tuesday morning, Moscow was attacked by drones. Some of them inflicted minor damage to buildings.
