Peskov speaks of European states' inevitable responsibility for their involvement in Ukraine conflict

MOSCOW. May 31 (Interfax) - The European states, which have become deeply involved in the Ukraine conflict, will sooner or later have to face their peoples, and consequences are inevitable, Russian presidential press secretary Dmitry Peskov said.

"Sooner or later, the European states and those who have actively meddled in this conflict up to their ears will have to think about it and answer to their peoples, as to why they are doing this, because they won't avoid negative consequences," Peskov told journalist Pavel Zarubin, commenting on the statements of German representatives that "Kiev's strikes on Russia using Ukrainian weapons are legitimate."
