MOSCOW. June 1 (Interfax) - Law enforcement agencies and authorities in Russia's Belgorod region are constantly briefing Russian President Vladimir Putin on the situation in Shebekino, including measures to provide temporary accommodation to local residents who request it, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said.
"In light of the situation around Shebekino, Vladimir Putin continues to receive reports from the Defense Ministry, the Border Service, the Federal Security Service and the Emergency Situations Ministry, in addition to being directly briefed by regional and municipal authorities on the provision of necessary assistance to the population, including providing temporary accommodation for those who want it," Peskov told reporters.
