One killed in Ukrainian strike on Novaya Kakhovka in Kherson region - authorities

ROSTOV-ON-DON. June 1 (Interfax) - The Ukrainian Armed Forces struck the city of Novaya Kakhovka on the left bank of the Dnieper river on Thursday, killing one civilian, district administration head Vladimir Leontyev told reporters.

"One person was killed - a man, born in 1953. There are also injuries: two people, that's for certain. And a very large number of people suffered a concussion," Leontyev said.

The preliminary information available indicates that the strike targeted the center of Novaya Kakhovka. Several buildings were destroyed.
