Moscow taking Yerevan's stance on Ukraine conflict into consideration - Peskov

MOSCOW. June 2 (Interfax) - Moscow is taking the stance of Armenia, which says it does not side with Russia in the Ukraine conflict, into consideration, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said.

"We take this into consideration, this is an important statement. We are aware of the existence of certain nuances in Armenia's approach to the Ukraine conflict. We are taking them into consideration, and we know about them," Peskov told reporters on Friday.

Peskov was commenting on a statement by Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, who said that Armenia is not Russia's ally in the Ukraine conflict and that the current situation is a source of concern for Yerevan.

"Of course, we continue to develop our conceptually allied relations with Armenia," Peskov said.
