MOSCOW. June 2 (Interfax) - The Russian Justice Ministry has extended its list of foreign agents to include political analyst Dmitry Oreshkin living abroad, journalist Roman Super and the Project news outlet.
The updates appeared on the ministry's website on Friday.
"[The following] have been added to the register of foreign agents: [publicist] Kuzakhmetov, Oreshkin, Super, Project, and the Yarnovosti limited liability company," a statement said.
"Oreshkin spread misinformation about the decisions made by Russian organs of public authority and their policies, made negative remarks about Russia, participated as a respondent on information platforms provided by foreign agents and foreign mass media, and expressed support for Ukrainian authorities," the ministry said.
Oreshkin currently lives abroad.
"Super spread misinformation about the decisions made by Russian organs of public authority and their policies, spoke out against the special military operation in Ukraine, participated in the creation and dissemination of information materials of foreign agents among an unlimited circle of persons," the ministry said.
Project spread misinformation about the activity of Russian organs of state authority and actions of the Russian Armed Forces, it said. "Project's creator and editor-in-chief [Roman Badanin] resides outside Russia and is on the register of foreign agents. Also included in the register are several employees of the news outlet," the ministry said.
