MOSCOW. June 6 (Interfax) - The Russian Federal Security Service (FSB) has released footage with questioning of detained members of a Ukrainian military intelligence group involved in sabotage flights in Russia.
One of the detained pilots said that the Ukrainian Defense Ministry's Main Intelligence Department set up an aviation wing in 2022, and he took part in the formation of aviation groups.
"Designing and transporting a dirty nuclear bomb, radioactive contamination, and low-yield portable nuclear devices, which do not weigh much, was considered," the detainee said.
Another Ukrainian saboteur said he was a pilot and took part in a flight to Russia's Bryansk region. "A lubricant depot was the target," he said.
Earlier on Tuesday, the FSB reported preparations of the Ukrainian Defense Ministry's Main Intelligence Department for a terror attack in Russia using a dirty bomb. An aviation group was formed for that purpose and performed five combat missions, in which fuel and energy sites were hit in border areas.
