MOSCOW. June 6 (Interfax) - The attempted offensive by the Ukrainian Armed Forces has been disrupted and the enemy has been stopped, Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu said.
"Attempts [to undertake] an offensive have been disrupted, the enemy has been stopped; Russian soldiers and officers have displayed courage and heroism in action," Shoigu said on Tuesday.
The Armed Forces of Ukraine failed to attain their goals, and sustained "considerable and incomparable losses," he said.
