Russian Emergency Situations Ministry, military, local govt working actively to address Kakhovka HPP destruction consequences - Putin

MOSCOW. June 13 (Interfax) - The Russian Emergency Situations Ministry is working very actively and cohesively to address the consequences of the destruction of the Kakhovka Hydropower Plant (HPP), President Vladimir Putin said.

"The Russian Emergency Situations Ministry is working very actively there. And the military and local authorities are working actively. I have recently talked to the head, the acting head of the Kherson region, [Vladimir] Saldo. He said, I'll tell you honestly, we have never seen such cohesive work," Putin said at a meeting with military reporters on Tuesday.
