Presidents of Russia, Algeria to hold talks on June 15, sign declaration of enhanced strategic partnership - Mishustin

MOSCOW. June 14 (Interfax) - The presidents of Russia and Algeria will hold negotiations in Moscow on Thursday, Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin said.

"This is your first state visit to Russia. You will hold negotiations with Russian President Vladimir Putin at the Kremlin tomorrow," Mishustin told Algerian President Abdelmadjid Tebboune on Wednesday.

"The signing of a declaration of enhanced strategic partnership will be an important step," Mishustin said. "It signals the transition of Russian-Algerian interaction to a whole new level. The Russian and Algerian governments will ensure [that] coordinated work [is conducted] to fulfil the agreements that will be reached at the summit level," he said.

Mishustin asked Tebboune to convey his greetings and best regards to the Algerian prime minister. "I reaffirm our interest in broadening our intergovernmental dialogue," he said.
