MOSCOW. June 20 (Interfax) - The Kremlin has declined comment on reports alleging that, in negotiating prisoner swaps with Moscow, Kiev has typically tried to prioritize the return of soldiers and officers of the Azov Brigade, designated as a terrorist organization and banned in Russia, while insisting that prisoner swaps involve hard and painstaking work that requires silence.
"I wouldn't like to comment on the subject of swaps in any way, which is quite sensitive. This is hard and painstaking work, and it should be done in silence," Russian presidential press secretary Dmitry Peskov told journalists on Tuesday, when asked whether Ukraine's terms were acceptable to Russia.
