Russian Defense Ministry reports destroying 8 Ukrainian ammo depots

MOSCOW. June 20 (Interfax) - The Russian Defense Ministry has reported destroying eight Ukrainian ammunition depots over the past 24 hours.

"Eight ammunition depots have been destroyed over the past 24 hours, particularly those belonging to the Ukrainian Armed Forces' 3rd Tank Brigade near Dvurechnaya of the Kharkov region, the 45th Artillery Brigade near Seversk of the Donetsk People's Republic, the Zaporozhye group of forces, the 128th Mountain Assault Brigade and the 65th Mechanized Brigade near Zaporozhye and near Razumovka, Stepovoye, and Novodanilovka of the Zaporozhye region, as well as the 106th and 122nd Territorial Defense Brigades near Ochakov of the Nikolayev region and Tyaginka of the Kherson region," Defense Ministry spokesman Igor Konashenkov said at a press briefing on Tuesday.

Russian forces have struck 98 Ukrainian artillery crews at their firing positions, as well as personnel and military hardware in 112 areas, he said.

They have also intercepted seven HIMARS rounds and downed 13 Ukrainian drones in the Zaporozhye region and in the Donetsk and Lugansk People's Republics, he said.

"A total of 444 Ukrainian planes, 240 helicopters, 4,713 unmanned aerial vehicles, 426 air defense missile systems, 10,222 tanks and other armored fighting vehicles, 1,126 multiple rocket launcher vehicles, 5,175 field artillery systems and mortars, and 11,066 special military vehicles have been destroyed since the start of the special military operation," Konashenkov said.
