No preconditions for extending grain deal - Peskov

MOSCOW. June 21 (Interfax) - The Kremlin sees no prerequisites for extending the Black Sea Grain Initiative, as the agreements have not been fulfilled thus far, Russian presidential press secretary Dmitry Peskov told reporters.

"No, there are no such prerequisites because it has not been fulfilled. The agreements have not been fulfilled thus far, and we have already heard a statement from UN representatives, who have to admit that, unfortunately, they have been unable to exert the necessary influence on countries of the collective West to fulfill the Russian part of the agreements," Peskov told reporters after being asked whether there are preconditions for extending the grain deal.
