Russia's return to New START Treaty possible only if U.S., West end hostile rhetoric - Russian deputy FM

SOCHI. June 22 (Interfax) - Russia may return to the New START Treaty only if the United States ends its hostile rhetoric towards Moscow, but there is a long way to go for that, Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Ryabkov said on Thursday.

"Now, Russia's return to fulfilling every aspect of the New START Treaty is possible only if the United States and its allies give up their fundamentally hostile course towards Russia. Obviously, there is a long way to go for that, but I have no doubt that the time will come and our enemies will acknowledge the mistaken nature of their course," Ryabkov told reporters in Sochi.
