BRUSSELS. June 23 (Interfax) - The European Union's 11th package of sanctions against Russia has been published in the Official Journal of the European Union and will take effect on Saturday.
As reported earlier, the package aims to stop the circumvention of sanctions.
The European Union has also imposed restrictions on more than 100 individuals and entities. The Council of the European Union said in a press release that the restrictions would apply to senior defense officials, businessmen and Russian IT companies providing key technologies and software to Russian intelligence, and entities working with the Russian Armed Forces.
