Deliveries of Su-57 fighters to Russian Defense Ministry to grow in 2023 - UAC

MOSCOW. June 23 (Interfax) - The Russian Defense Ministry will begin receiving more Sukhoi Su-57 fifth generation fighter aircraft this year, United Aircraft Corporation (UAC) CEO Yury Slyusar said.

"The volume of deliveries of Su-57 fifth generation fighters to the Russian Aerospace Forces will increase this year," a statement published on the Russian government website quoted Slyusar as saying.

The Su-57 is a Russian multirole fifth-generation fighter aircraft designed to destroy all types of aerial targets at various ranges, as well as ground and surface targets, and is capable of overpowering air defense systems. Its maiden flight took place on January 29, 2010.
