Azerbaijani FM going to U.S. for talks on draft peace agreement with Armenia

BAKU. June 26 (Interfax) - Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov has departed for the United States on a working visit at the invitation of U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken, the Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry said on Monday.

"The visit program includes a bilateral meeting between Bayramov and Blinken and another round of talks with the Armenian foreign minister to discuss a draft bilateral agreement on peace and normalization of interstate relations," the ministry said in a statement on its website.

As reported earlier, the foreign ministers of Armenia and Azerbaijan will hold the next round of negotiations on June 27.
