MOSCOW. June 27 (Interfax) - Russian President Vladimir Putin has thanked Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko for his efforts to peacefully resolve the situation that arose around the attempted armed mutiny in Russia.
"I am grateful to the president of Belarus for his efforts and contribution to peacefully resolving the situation," Putin said in a televised address.
