Russian corvette practices firing artillery in Baltic Sea

MOSCOW. June 28 (Interfax) - The Boiky corvette has practiced firing artillery upon a mock enemy's aerial and marine targets, the Russian Baltic Fleet said in a statement on Wednesday.

"The Boiky's missile and artillery unit practiced firing an A-190 naval artillery system upon imitated marine and aerial targets," it said.

The corvette also practiced jamming countermeasures, damage control in motion, navigation in confined waters and in limited visibility, and anti-sabotage measures, it said.
