MOSCOW. June 29 (Interfax) - An ammo depot of the Ukrainian Armed Forces has been destroyed with a Krasnopol precision-guided artillery shell, the Russian Defense Ministry said on Thursday.
"An ammo depot of the Ukrainian Armed Forces has been destroyed by an accurate hit with a precision-guided munition," the ministry said.
The ministry released footage of an Inokhodets reconnaissance and attack drone targeting the Krasnopol precision-guided shell as part of the special military operation.
"The crew of an Inokhodets reconnaissance and attack drone detected the location of an ammo depot of the Ukrainian Armed Forces and targeted the precision-guided artillery munition," the footage said.
According to publicly available information, the Krasnopol is a guided munition for 142/155mm artillery systems designed to destroy tanks, infantry vehicles, artillery systems, moving and immobile targets, dugouts, bridges, crossings and surface targets in one hit, without fire adjustment.
