MINSK. June 30 (Interfax) - The upper chamber of the Belarusian parliament, the Council of the Republic, has approved an agreement with Russia on establishing and operating joint military training centers, the chamber's press service said on Friday.
"The bill has been approved by the Council of the Republic," the press service said.
The international agreement regulates the establishment and functioning of joint training centers of the Armed Forces of Belarus and Russia at the premises of each other's military units, and defines their objectives and the procedure for interaction between the two defense ministries in ensuring comprehensive support for the training centers.
