BRUSSELS. June 30 (Interfax) - Hungary objects to the European Commission providing additional financial assistance to Ukraine at this point, Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban said.
"One thing is clear. We Hungarians will not give more money to Ukraine until they say where the previous around 70 billion euros' worth of funds have gone," Orban said.
A two-day summit of the European Union began in Brussels on Thursday. Leaders of the EU member states reiterated their readiness to provide further military and economic assistance to Ukraine at the end of the summit's first day.
