MOSCOW. July 10 (Interfax) - The Russian military has again reported flights of U.S.-led coalition aircraft in a Syrian area closed due to a Russian-Syrian exercise, as well as violations in the al-Tanf zone.
"Four violations of the Syrian airspace by two F-16 duos of the coalition were observed in the al-Tanf zone over the past day," deputy head of the Russian Center for Reconciliation of Opposing Sides in Syria Oleg Gurinov said on Sunday.
"Twelve 12 violations by unmanned aerial vehicles of the so-called international antiterrorist coalition have been recorded in the past 24 hours, including eight in the area closed to aircraft due to the Russian-Syrian exercise in northern Syria," Gurinov said.
A total of 1,602 violations of the Syrian airspace by the U.S.-led coalition were observed in the al-Tanf zone in the first half of 2023, he said.
