MOSCOW. July 10 (Interfax) - Russian President Vladimir Putin and Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan have not had a special conversation about extending the Black Sea Grain Initiative at this point, but it can be arranged if necessary, Russian presidential press secretary Dmitry Peskov said.
"There have been no conversations as of now, but it could be put on the schedule if necessary. Putin and Erdogan agree contacts via phone very quickly and promptly. Therefore, if necessary, such a discussion will take place," Peskov told journalists on Monday when asked whether the two presidents had any contacts on extending the grain deal, which expires on July 17.
