MOSCOW. July 10 (Interfax) - Rostec has doubled its output of Sukhoi Su-30, Su-34, and Su-35 planes for the Russian Defense Ministry, Rostec First Deputy CEO Vladimir Artyakov said.
"We have also doubled the number of some aircraft that we manufacture for the Defense Ministry. This includes such planes as the Su-30, Su-34, and Su-35, which are very effective on the line of contact," Artyakov said in an interview with the Rossiya-24 (VGTRK) television channel.
"We stand ready to continue stepping up our volumes. Everything will depend on what the Defense Ministry orders [from] us," he said.
Rostec companies have been implementing the state defense order in full, and deliveries of certain products, primarily armored vehicles and artillery systems, are running ahead of schedule not only in terms of deadlines but also in terms of the amounts provided, Artyakov said.
"We have substantially upgraded our production facilities and trained specialists, primarily those who operate those production facilities," he said.
