Russian Investigative Committee opens case over murder of Krasnodar mobilization deputy head

MOSCOW. July 11 (Interfax) - The Russian Investigative Committee has opened a criminal case on counts of murder of Stanislav Rzhitsky, deputy head of the Krasnodar city mobilization department.

"The investigative department of the Krasnodar western city district has opened a criminal case on counts of murder of a deputy head of the Krasnodar city mobilization department," the Committee's territorial branch said.

According to investigators, "a 42-old man was found dead with gunshot wounds near Beregovaya Street in Krasnodar early in the morning" on Monday.

The high-profile case division of the Russian Investigative Committee's branch in the Krasnodar Territory is investigating the Rzhitsky murder.

"A number of investigative and operative procedures are being conducted to establish every detail of the crime and to identify the perpetrator and his motivation," the agency said.

State Duma deputy, former head of the Krasnodar administration Yevgeny Pervyshov reported Rzhitsky's murder earlier.
