BEIJING. July 11 (Interfax) - There are no prerequisites for starting Russia-Ukraine peace negotiations, Federation Council speaker Valentina Matviyenko told reporters in Beijing.
"We are realistic in our assessment of what is happening. Political will, realism and independence are required to start a peace dialogue. We do not see any of this in Ukraine. To our great regret, today we do not see any prerequisites for peace talks," Matviyenko told reporters in Beijing on Tuesday.
