MOSCOW. July 11 (Interfax) - Since June 4, when Ukraine began its counteroffensive, the Ukrainian army has not achieved its goals in any of the sectors, Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu said.
"All in all, the adversary has not achieved its goals in any sector," Shoigu told reporters on Tuesday.
"Furthermore, we are continuing to deliver effective strikes with high-precision long-range weapons on the reserves of the Ukrainian Armed Forces and military equipment coming from the West, considerably decreasing the adversary's offensive potential," he said.
The results of the Russian army's combat efforts are being thoroughly monitored and analyzed by foreign intelligence services, predominantly those of the U.S. and NATO countries, and they are pointing at the Russian combat action's high effectiveness, Shoigu said.
