Shoigu: Ukraine losses over 26,000 servicemen, 3,000 pieces of hardware during counteroffensive

MOSCOW. July 11 (Interfax) - Ukraine lost over 26,000 servicemen and 3,000 pieces of various military equipment, including Leopard and AMX tanks and Bradley infantry fighting vehicles supplied by the West, throughout the counteroffensive since June 4, Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu said.

"The enemy lost over 26,000 servicemen and 3,000 pieces of various hardware since June 4. A total of 21 aircraft, five helicopters, 1,244 tanks and other armored fighting vehicles were destroyed. Among them are 17 German-made Leopard tanks, five French-made AMX wheeled tanks, and 12 U.S.-made Bradley infantry fighting vehicles," Shoigu told reporters on Tuesday.

In addition, 914 special military vehicles, two surface-to-air missile systems, 25 multiple rocket launchers, 403 field artillery systems and mortars, including 43 U.S.-made M777 artillery systems and 46 self-propelled artillery systems produced in Poland, the United States, and France, were destroyed, he said.
