MOSCOW. July 12 (Interfax) - The acceptance of weapons and military hardware from the Wagner Group's units is being completed, the Russian Defense Ministry said.
"The Russian Armed Forces are completing their acceptance of weapons and military hardware from the Wagner Group's units according to the plan," the Russian Defense Ministry said on Wednesday.
"More than 2,000 pieces of equipment and weapons have been transferred. They include hundreds of heavy weapons [such as] T-90, T-80 and T-72B3 tanks, Grad and Uragan MLRS, and Pantsir anti-aircraft artillery systems," the ministry said.
"Dozens" of the transferred weapons "have never been used in combat conditions," it said.
"More than 2,500 tonnes of various munitions and some 20,000 small arms have also been accepted," the ministry said.
