MOSCOW. July 13 (Interfax) - Everyone planning a provocation at the Zaporozhye Nuclear Power Plant and claiming that the plant was mined has been exposed with the assistance of specialists from the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), while intelligence data proves Kiev is preparing to bomb the Zaporozhye NPP, Rosatom head Alexei Likhachev said in an interview with journalist Pavel Zarubin.
"Four people [IAEA specialists] are working at the plant; they have been shown the premises and they have drawn a definitive conclusion that there are no signs of mining at the plant," Likhachev said in the interview published on Telegram.
This confirms the earlier statements made by the Russian administration and specialists working at the plant, he said.
"The IAEA administration was very attentive to this matter. Rafael Grossi used modern channels, including Twitter, to relay his opinion and this assessment to his experts. So, everyone plotting a provocation was brought to light," Likhachev said.
