Russian military records 13 violations by U.S.-led coalition drones in Syria in past 24 hours

MOSCOW. July 14 (Interfax) - Thirteen violations of deconfliction protocols by unmanned aerial vehicles of the U.S.-led coalition have been observed in Syria over the past 24 hours, deputy head of the Russian Center for Opposing Sides in Syria Oleg Gurinov said on Thursday.

Al-Tanf, crossed by international air routes, saw ten violations of the Syrian airspace by a duo of F-15 fighter jets, three duos of F-16 fighter jets, and a duo of Rafael fighter jets, he said.

The coalition held an air defense exercise in the area on July 12, Gurinov said.

"Such actions create dangerous prerequisites for aviation incidents, including those with civilian aircraft on regular flights," he said.
