SOCHI. July 17 (Interfax) - A temporary 250-meter-long bridge will be built parallel to the part of the Crimean Bridge damaged as a result of the overnight attack on Monday, Russian Deputy Prime Minister Marat Khusnullin said.
"We plan to fully launch one span on September 15. We will be working on rebuilding the second span. It can't be done according to the technology here, therefore we will most likely build a temporary 250-meter-long bridge and raise the spans using large-capacity cranes," Khusnullin told reporters on Monday.
"The technology has basically been determined, the designers are working, the headquarters structure has been assembled," he said.
"We are starting to work round-the-clock, like we did after the first terrorist attack," Khusnullin said.
Tentative results will be expected every 12 hours during the round-the-clock work, he said.
