U.S.-led coalition planes violate Syrian airspace four times - Russian Center for Reconciliation

MOSCOW. July 18 (Interfax) - The U.S.-led international antiterrorist coalition has breached the de-confliction protocols related to drone flights in Syria ten times over the past day, and four violations of the country's airspace by coalition aircraft were also recorded, the Russian military said.

"Four violations of Syria's airspace by two pairs of the coalition's F-16 fighter jets were registered once again in the Al-Tanf area, which international air routes pass through," the deputy head of the Russian Center for Reconciliation of Opposing Sides in Syria, Oleg Gurinov, said on Monday.

Ten breaches by the coalition of the December 9, 2019 de-confliction protocols due to drone flights that were not agreed with the Russian side were also recorded over the past day, Gurinov said.
