Crimean Bridge must be repaired as promptly as possible - Mishustin

MOSCOW. July 18 (Interfax) - Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin has emphasized the need to repair the damage caused to the Crimean Bridge as a result of Monday's terrorist attack as promptly as possible.

"A terrorist attack on the Crimean Bridge was staged yesterday. The governmental commission is already working to eliminate the consequences of this incident," Mishustin said at a meeting of the government's coordination council for meeting the needs of the Russian Armed Forces, other troops, military formations and agencies.

"Construction workers are examining the condition of the [bridge's] infrastructure. It is necessary to restore the capabilities of this transport artery as soon as possible," he said.

Mishustin asked the coordination council's members and representatives of the security services to submit proposals on issues that need to be resolved following their analysis of the reasons for the incident.
