VORONEZH. July 18 (Interfax) - A village in the Glushkovo district has come under Ukrainian cross-border shelling, governor of Russia's Kursk region Roman Starovoit said.
"The village of Yelizavetovka in the Glushkovo district was shelled from Ukraine's side this morning. Four hits were recorded. Two properties have been damaged [..]. Also, a fire broke out after a shell hit the grounds of the machine-and-tractor courtyard of OOO [limited liability company] Pobeda. The fire has been put out," Starovoit said on Telegram on Tuesday.
The Kursk region borders Ukraine and has repeatedly come under attack. The region has been on high (yellow) terrorist alert since April 11, 2022.
