VLADIVOSTOK. July 19 (Interfax) - The crews of S-400 Triumph air defense missile systems have practiced destroying airborne targets during an exercise in Primorye Territory, Russia's Eastern Military District said on Wednesday.
"During an integrated exercise, S-400 Triumph crews practiced searching for, identifying, and tracking enemy airborne vehicles and carrying out training (simulated) missile launches," it said.
The simulated launches intercepted all of the airborne targets, it said.
According to official information, the S-400 Triumph, developed and manufactured by Almaz-Antey Air and Space Defense Corporation, is a long-range air defense system capable of destroying strategic and tactical aircraft, ballistic missiles, hypersonic targets, and other airborne attack hardware.
