MINSK. July 20 (Interfax) - The Belarusian Armed Forces are continuing joint training sessions with Wagner Group members, the Belarusian Defense Ministry's press service said.
"Units of the special operations forces have been tackling combat training tasks together with Wagner representatives at the Brestsky training range for a week," it said.
The Belarusian Defense Ministry intends to unveil details of the training process soon.
Wagner Group members are positively influencing the Belarusian army's development, the ministry said.
"In conditions of the present geopolitical situation, the real combat experience of the Wagner Group offers an opportunity to continue to pursue the Belarusian army's course toward modernization, rearmament and prompt introduction of the experience of modern-day military conflicts into the training program," it said.
All decisions adopted by the senior staff of the Defense Ministry have one goal - to enhance the combat cohesion and skills of Armed Forces personnel in the interests of maintaining Belarus's military security, the ministry said.
