Russian Defense Ministry reports new retaliatory strikes upon targets in Odessa, Nikolayev, Ilyichyovsk

MOSCOW. July 20 (Interfax) - The Russian Defense Ministry has reported firing precision-guided munitions to destroy facilities for manufacturing and storing uncrewed boats in the areas of Odessa and Ilyichyovsk in the Odessa region, as well as fuel infrastructure and ammunition depots in the Nikolayev area.

"The Russian Armed Forces continued delivering sea-launched and air-launched retaliatory strikes using precision-guided munitions upon facilities for manufacturing and storing uncrewed boats in the areas of the cities of Odessa and Ilyichyovsk of the Odessa region last night," Defense Ministry spokesman Igor Konashenkov said.

"In addition, fuel infrastructure facilities and ammunition depots of the Ukrainian Armed Forces have been destroyed near the city of Nikolayev," he said.

"The objective of the strike has been achieved, and all the designated targets have been hit," Konashenkov said.
